This semester's blog is an extension of our classroom. Through weekly blog posts you will have the opportunity to think critically about topics relevant to what we study in class, practice expressing these ideas through writing to a real and specific audience, and receive direct feedback. This blog will facilitate discussion in a pertinent and real-world format.
Think of this blog as means of developing a classroom writing community; we are always writers within communities. Its online format also makes our class blog open to the general public. All real world writing has an intended audience, but in addition to these intended readers, real world writing is also read and commented on by unintended audiences.
