Harmful in what way? The harmful things that come to mind are:
-interferes with education -teaches kids the wrong ideas about sex -influences drug use -influence poor language
Writing on all of these would be too much for our 10 page paper. Perhaps pick one and go from there. I like your topic, there is just so much you can do with it.
How about writing about how it is preventing them from going outside and living life, and influencing them to live vicariously through others on tv shows? Or, it causes a shorter attention span, contrary to reading books which while is also entertainment, causes a longer attention span? (I don't know if that's correct but just ideas/rumors)
