I think that there shouldn't be specified visiting hours, and that we should be allowed to have people in our rooms at any/all times. We are adults now and I'm a strong believer that we should be able to determine for ourselves who is in our rooms and at what times. Don't get me wrong, I am a strong believer in the honor code and the positive ways in which we should be conducting ourselves physically, but I'm equally a believer that those who want to go against that standard will find a way to do so even with the restriction of visiting hours. We should be accountable for ourselves. Its annoying that we can't hang out with our guy/girl friends in our rooms. It forces us to be in the lobby (which can be overcrowded and impersonal).
I am just curious of your reasoning why because you are the first person I have heard say this! I would love to hear!
ReplyDeleteSo there would NEVER be visiting hours? Or anytime is free game for visiting? I'm confused...
ReplyDeleteI repeat Jessica's question: I'm sure you have this clarified in your head already, but I'd love some clarification.
