Something that I love and have really appreciated since I was little is the beach. Everything about a beach is just so perfect. It is a peaceful, and relaxing place to take a walk, read a book, or just lay out and tan. For the more adventurous, such as myself, there is the water and waves. I love being in the ocean, whether it's just playing around in the water or boogie boarding. For the more sporty, or those just looking for a good time, there are beach volley ball nets located all over the beaches. My family had the great opportunity to live just minutes from Newport Beach for a few years. We go back almost every year, for about a week. We usually rent a beach house and spend days just soaking in the sun, making sand castles or taking morning walks. If I could live this life every day I would. I mean who wouldn't? Just think about it, it's almost as if when your toes hit that soft, sparkling, and warm sand all of the stress and troubles of your life just disappear. It is just you, the sound of the crashing waves, and the blue of the sea stretching out to the horizon. What could be more perfect? There is another activity that the beach has to offer. I personally love to walk along the shore and pick up seashells. Again, this is another calm activity. This is a great way to start a collection, after all after about one or two trips along the beach, usually you have enough shells for a life time. After having a good time at the beach, I have memories and experiences that I will never forget. The beach is just such a special place to me, and it is where I have some of my most cherished memories. I love the beach, and now you can see why.
I have lived in Utah my whole life, but right now me and my family are moving to California. True I will miss my home in Salt Lake, but I am going to LOOOOVE being right by the beach! It really is the best, most relaxing, and stress-free feeling on earth!
ReplyDeleteI think almost all of my favorite memories from family vacations took place at a beach. Building sand castles was always an important part of any beach experience for my brothers and I. We have had castle competitions, as well as a few joint efforts to create monster castles. The castles didn't always work out, but the memories are priceless.
ReplyDeleteI love the beach! And I think we could use some beach weather right now. I'm so sick of this cold weather. I'm about ready to pack my bags and hitch a ride to San Diego or someplace nice and warm with a nice beach. My little brother would always collect all the cool shells he saw on the beach but he was barely ever able to take them home because he either forgot them in a pile on the beach or we couldn't take them back on the plane.
