Week 3- Taylor Swift

I love Taylor Swift. I don't just like her music, or the person she is... I love everything about her! I could recite her every song perfectly 100 times or name any facts about her life/ accomplishments. I love her music and everything about her. She is the kind of person everyone can love. Even if you hate country music, you can still like her as an individual. For starters, Taylor Swift got fame all on her own. At age 12 she began playing the guitar and writing her own music and lyrics. Year after year she would give out a demo tape to recording studios in Nashville and was rejected every time. She never made the greatest friends in school and her music and guitar was something for her to reside in. She rejected a record deal because they wouldn't let her record her own music. Finally at age 14, a guy who just started his own record label signed her onto "Big Machine Records". Long story short, she has released 3 great selling albums, has broken many records, and has won many awards. At age 21 now, Taylor Swift has remained the most innocent and wholesome person in the industry. With all the fame and fortune, she isn't like the other celebrities. She is a good role model and lives her life with great goals and ambition. She she donates and helps at many charity events. We don't see her on the front of People Magazine drunk and stumbling out of a limo. She is classy, and has a good heart. All the Taylor Swift haters rip on her and her lyrics saying, "She only writes about sad boy stories!" or "She can't perform live!" My response is, "Ya". She does write about sad boy stories and probably isn't the best live performer. But it has made her one of the most famous musicians of our time and has done it with honor and maturity. She is funny, kind and has good standards. You don't find someone like that in the music industry very often. So the next time you want to criticize my girl T- Swift... don't!
